LIGHT SHOW:  A  SHORT STORY BY DAVID FARREN

Author's note:

Every so often I'll discover a writer who excites me with a new riff on a familiar theme.   For instance, Bram Stoker had defined what we should expect of a vampire for almost a century, and then Anne Rice reinvented the genre so that we are made to look at the supernatural world from a completely different angle.   What I learned from Anne Rice was that it could be lot of fun to rethink the stereotypes, and this is what I have attempted to do as much as I could in the stories that make up this collection.    In "Light Show" I play around with several stock themes.  Some of you may recognize the music, and if you do you'll have spotted one of them.
